Field Controlled Release Devices (F-CRDs)

F-CRDs are the next vector control and crop protection devices that combine especially formulated active ingredients (AIs) and a smart mass transfer processes. F-CRDs have been designed to synergistically work with new formulations to provide maximum protection in an environmentally friendly manner.

Application Examples: houses, gardens, fields. 

Examples of Targeted Vectors: mosquitoes, ticks, flies, ants.

Examples of AIs: transfluthrin, metofluthrin, deltamethrin, DEET.

Examples of Targeted Invasive Species: psyllids, weevils, beetles.

Wearable Controlled Release Devices (W-CRDs)

W-CRDs are next generation personal protection systems against vectors. M-CRDs rely on advanced formulations, materials and structural components to optimize controlled release of AIs. W-CRDs can be integrated as wearable devices in rugged conditions. M-CRDs can also can be integrated with multiple AIs for long term protection.

Application Examples: personal protection, far field conditions.

Examples of AIs: transfluthrin, metofluthrin, DEET.

Rapid Reconstitution Packages (RRPs)

RRPs are advanced reconstitution and delivery systems for critical applications that use low solubility APIs and large payload applications. RRPs can be seamlessly integrated with standard syringes, or used as stand-alone injectors. RRPs make use of microfluidics to perform optimal on-spot reconstitution and delivery of multiple AIs. RRPs can store drugs in lyophilized form for long term storage and reconstitute on demand without the need of shaking.

Application Examples: stroke, hypoglycemia, infectious diseases.

Examples of Delivery Modalities: transcutaneous, transdermal, intramuscular, intravenous, intraperitoneal. 

Examples of APIs: tPA, glucagon, antibiotics, vaccines.

UAV-based Tactical Pest Management System (TPMS)

TPMS represeents the future operating system for vector and crop protection that use UAVs for detection and treatment of large fields against vectors. TPMS offers a unique optimization solution that allows to deploy UAVs based on the spatial protection needs in conjunction with environmental variables. TPMS allows for protection planning proving a comprehensive preventive and treatment solution.

Application Examples: vineyards, timber fields, groves, orchards.

Examples of Targeted Invasive Species: psyllids, weevils, beetles.

M-CRDs are the future of drug delivery. M-CRDs are advanced miniaturized controlled drug delivery system that can be integrated with electronics to program pharmacokinetic profiles. M-CRDs can be integrated with patches, or implanted as minimally invasive devices. M-CRDs can also can be integrated with sensors for close-loop applications.

Application Examples: hemorrhage, epilepsy, diabetes, hypoglycemia.
